Hi all! Picking back up on our 2021 wedding season, we’re very excited to introduce David and Claudia, along with their beautiful and intimate backyard wedding.

First off, David and Claudia were fantastic. Such a vibrant, fun, and outgoing couple. Perfect pairing for any wedding day. Second, we basically came across this wedding on sheer luck. We saw a post on social media from a wedding coordinator/florist we had worked with in the past. Kerri, from Fern + Lace, was looking for any available photogs in the area. When we saw the posting with the description, we knew we just HAD to reach out. However, we feared we may have missed on this opportunity, given how long it was when the inquiry was first posted. Regardless, we crossed our fingers and reached out.

To our surprise, the inquiry had not been filled. With a few more e-mail exchanges, it was official! We were so fortunate, and more so, extremely excited to work alongside Kerri again. Her vision, floral arrangements, and décor is one of a kind. The attention to detail makes it all a photographers dream. Kerri did an awesome job once again and as you see through the photos, and the reasons why we were thrilled to have another opportunity to work alongside her.

Back to the wedding. David and Claudia decided to hold their ceremony and reception in Claudia’s parent’s backyard. Located in historic Ellington, CT. A beautiful backdrop on a quintessential old New England main street. Open yard, fields, barn, and even a chicken coup provide the perfect setting for such a perfect event.

We were so happy this all worked out and were able to be there for their day. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did capturing them.
