We have two rad souls joining the blog today. Karey and Michelle, welcome! An impromptu engagement session as they flew in to Connecticut for a visit back home last December. Currently residing in Colorado, we all jumped at the opportunity we had to grab a quick engagement session while they were back. Michelle and Kristen are long time friends, so naturally we said yes when they asked us to be their wedding photographers.

Racing against the clock with the setting sun, we headed out to a nearby trail. Even though its right up the street from where we live, it was our first time exploring the area. So glad we did, as the sun light up there was absolutely magical. Peeking through the trees, providing that perfect backdrop of sun flares and shadows to work with. It was a bit chilly too, but they both were troopers. Some blankets and a few beers kept everyone warm.

We all had a blast. If this was a sneak peek to their wedding with how lovely these two are, then we and can’t wait to be with them for their big day back out in Colorado!
