2014 Year in Review.

2014. Wow, where did you go? This past year was loaded with tons of awesomeness. My slate for weddings and engagements was fuller than ever. I got to hang out with some of the most awesome couples throughout the year and capture their love for one another on their special day. To be able to do so was truly an amazing experience. You all helped me with bringing my comfort level to an all time high in shooting weddings. Thank you, times a million.

Personally, 2014 brought on major changes in my life as well. Started off the year buying a house with my lovely girlfriend. Shortly after, we added a new member to our family, Horton! No, not a child, but might as well be considering how rambunctious of a puppy he is. We rescued the little pit bull/lab mix from Hartford Animal Shelter and could not be happier with him. Finally, that girlfriend of mine is no longer that. I closed out the year on the ultimate high note by asking Kristen to marry me. I'm sure you all saw the results from that.

2015, I'm coming for ya. Looking to book more weddings than ever. One major goal of mine is just to start taking "snapshot" photos again. More personal work. I lacked in that aspect a ton in 2014. I miss landscapes and just capturing every day life moments. While I enjoy capturing the love and happiness that weddings bring, landscapes and "snapshots", I believe, is what defines me as a photographer. That's how I started behind a camera, and I need to continue on with that. Also, I have a crap ton a film to develop. That needs to be taken care of too.

Anyway, looking forward to this new year. I've seen how the months and months of planning a wedding comes together, now I get to be the one planning my own wedding! Looking forward to that and being on both sides of the camera.

Cheers!
