Matt & Andrea's Wedding Day.

Let me tell you, backyard weddings are where it’s at. They can be a little more casual, laidback, and easy going. Also, the couples are more free to be able to add their own flare to their wedding day, whereas a venue may limit a few things. Like, a bride arriving in her dad’s ’37 Chevy hotrod as AC/DC’s “Thunderstuck” blasts through the speakers. Well, Matt and Andrea made sure to have all of that covered for their big day.

Their ceremony and reception all took place at the parents of the bride’s home out in Eastern Connecticut. Sprawling fields, stone walls, and colonial homes dot this beautiful area in CT. Before any of the festivities kicked off at the house though, we all traveled down to Harkness Memorial State Park, where Matt and Andrea had their first look. Back at the house, their ceremony was held outside, followed by a tented reception. The whole day was catered and coordinated by A Thyme to Cook. We have to say, we really enjoy working with the staff over at ATTC. Super friendly, very accommodating to all in attendance, and yea, the food is killer.

Matt and Andrea sure had one of those weddings that will surely stick with us for some time. Kristen and I would like to wish them all the best, and to say thank you for having us be there to capture it all!

We hope you all enjoy as much as we did!

Dan and Kristen
