Happy Thursday evening! Man, it sure has been awhile since we’ve had some wedding content to share with you all. But wait no more, as we have a very special wedding day to bring to the blog.
Welcome Niki and Lisa. Two amazing and beautiful people, and the most outgoing individuals you will ever meet. Now Kristen has had the pleasure of knowing Niki for quite a few years now, as they grew up together in town. I was introduced to Niki and Lisa through Kristen, thus creating a new friendship between us all. Heck, they both helped us buy/sell not only our first home, but buy our second home as well. Anyway, I digress…onto their wedding day!
What a perfect, sunny, early autumn day. I had the opportunity to travel up to Northwestern Connecticut, taking some great backgrounds to Lisa’s house, while Kristen accompanied Niki at her home. We all convened later at the Aqua Turf, in Southington. A large, multi-room banquet hall with stunning grounds. We didn’t have to go far for portraits of the family and couple. It was great having all we needed right in one spot.
A quick ceremony, followed up by a Disney inspired reception. There wasn’t a dull moment throughout the entire day. Niki and Lisa, along with friends and family, knew how to celebrate and keep the party going well into the night. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part and share in all the moments of their wedding day.
Niki and Lisa, we wish you nothing but the best as you start this new chapter with one another. Thank you both for having us as both photographers, and guests. Always a special treat when that happens.
