Russ & Kelly's Wedding Day.

Here’s the deal…Russ and Kelly are two awesome individuals, and one extraordinary couple. A true example of “high school sweethearts.” Their story beginning almost 14 years ago back at our days in Berlin High. Someone had a not so secret crush on Russ, and although these two shared lockers next to one another, he hadn’t the slightest idea. His friends knew, Kelly’s friends knew. We all knew. Having these lockers next to each other just wasn’t enough either. Kelly wanted nothing more than to let her crush know, and saw a perfect opportunity to do so by attending the homecoming dance with Russ. Let’s just say I wouldn’t be writing this right now if her plan of going with him had not panned out. They went and never looked back.

Their love, support, and connection to one another is unfazed. Only growing more and more throughout the years at Berlin High, to college, and beyond. It was an absolute honor to be there as these two tied the knot. There is just something extra special about witnessing classmates take this next step in their lives. Already going through so much together as friends/classmates. From middle school through high school, and sometimes even as far back as elementary school. It’s just another awesome experience to be a part of, and to share it with not only the couple, but with a group who have all been friends for many years. With all that said, onto the wedding!

This day was hot, and when I mean hot, I mean HOT. One of the warmest days of the year with temps topping out over the century mark. Although summer reared its ugly head, that did not stop what would be one amazing wedding day. The ceremony and reception were held at The Lace Factory, in Deep River, CT. A beautiful, old brick building residing in a quaint town. Located along the Essex Steam Train line and the Connecticut River. Friends and family gathered in the courtyard out back to watch Russ and Kelly say their “I do’s.” Everyone kept cool and did not let the heat keep them from enjoying in their special day. The wedding/Class of ’03 reunion turned out to be nothing short of a good time. The families were great, the friends were great, and all you ‘03’ers…you still got it.

To Russ and Kelly…you both are amazing! We wish you all the best in this new journey together.

Thank you soo much for having us be there to capture it all!
